I would like help requesting ordinances for a friend.
You can request the ordinances by going to the page of the person of whom you'd like to do the work for. From there, you can go to the ordinances tab located on the far right.
Once in here, it will show you what ordinances are available. If they are not, and require you to request permission, you click on the link stating request permission, and you fill out the form with as much information as you possibly can including a contact phone number and/or an email address. This includes the person granting permission for the friend's work to be done. This has to be a family member of the friend. A child, parent or spouse.
If you require more assistance you can speak with a Family History Consultant within your ward or branch, or you could request help from a FamilySearch representative by following this link, going to your region and selecting Email Support or Schedule an Online Appointment.
Hope this helps.
Thank you both! This should be what I need. I have permission from a close family member of the deceased.
