A member of our Ward passed away in 2021. We have received permission from his mother to do the initiatory and endowment. I have attempted to request on family search but the system doesn't allow my request with permission.

I am asked if I am related Yes or No. I click No and this is the message that it gives.

Church temple ordinance policy requires you to be related to the person for whom you are requesting ordinances. Thank you for following Church policy.

No option to provide evidence of permission from a closest relative. Can you help?

I have had cases like that but all you need is a written consent from the closest living relative with his or her phone contact and email address. The correct wordings should be provided to you. On that same email they sent you, you can reply to them and attach the written consent. They usually don’t take long to respond.
