On a few Marriage records put forward to review l can find nothing wrong with them. I have put one in here for you to see what l mean. Am l missing something please?

Kind Regards

All indexed records are reviewed. If no one reviews them, then no one can say there is nothing wrong with them (like you 😊).

As long as you follow the Project Instructions as to what is to be reviewed, you're doing good.

Watch for spellings (Gs and Es are often confused and sometimes "r"s (which are written differently on some forms), dates (I had someone put in an 1890 date for the wedding of someone born in the 1900s).

Also be sure that brides and/or mother of brides with maiden names have them entered correctly.

Field Help: Maiden names should be typed in this field before the current or former surnames. A maiden name was often indicated by the words "geb," "née," or "born as." A maiden name may also have been written in parentheses.

          Surname: Johnsson nee Smythe

          Surname: Johnsson (Smythe)

          Entry should be: Smythe Johnsson
