Bouwe Meinderts Westra 24 January 1827 - 11 November 1850 99FH-9QM is listed in Family Tree (FT) as my 1st cousin, three times removed.

My grand parents, Ate and Geeske Westra immigrated from the Netherlands to Salt Lake City in 1907. They did lots of early temple ordinances. One of these was for Bouwe. One merge was completed for Bouwe back in 2019. Then it was discovered that there were still two records of this Bouwe in FT. The other record for Bouwe was listed with the name Bove. These two records were merged 24 Sep 2022.

Now all of the individual ordinance dates for Bouwe are listed correctly in FT, all done in 1908 in the Salt Lake Temple. However, the SP ordinance is listed in FT as not completed.

The following was a note in the PAF record for Bouwe:

SP also done 12 Feb 1914 and 18 Jan 1944, SLAKE.

Endowment duplicated 2018, Salt Lake Temple, duplicate found, name Bove, merged.

SP done in 1915, PAF

The SP for many of the siblings of Bouwe are listed in FT as done in 1914 or 1944. Before someone wastes any more time duplicating the SP ordinance for Bouwe, can someone locate the 1914 SP ordinance for him, and get it listed as such in FT?

    Hello @jlwestra

We were able to locate the Sealing to Parent ordinance for Bouwe Meinderts of 7 January 1915. This date now shows in Family Tree on ID 99FH-9QM.

Thank you for bringing this to our attention.

    kind regards
