I am indexing Land Records which record entries for Grantors and Grantees. This batch probably has 200 entries. I am working on the last 50 plus. I believe the recorder erroneously mixed up the entries for the Grantors and Grantees on the last 50 plus. On this batch all the Grantor names start with the letter 'H' except for the last 50 plus where the all Grantees names start with the letter 'H'.
Should I fix the error in my entries or record as written? My due date expires for this batch today and I only have the next hour or so to finish. If I do not receive a response within the next hour I will address what I perceive as a recorder mistake and index the correction.

Midnight on the due day means midnight Coordinated Universal Time, aka Greenwich Mean Time. I'm in Central Time, which is 5 hours behind GMT. It's 6:52 pm GMT; 1:52 pm here in Illinois.
The code you provided was perfect. With a code, we can see the issue rather than trying to decipher from just the description. You can see a shared batch by going to Help -->Open Shared Batch. You can check my current batch to give it a whirl. [M3YN-YYC].
Unfortunately, I do not know how to recall a batch to work on it. The mods do, and I'm going to tag @Melissa S Himes and @John Empoliti. They may be able to provide more information on this.

This is NOT an error. Check the top of each column and you will see that it is supposed to be reversed. YOU have to change your entries. This is very common on the 2nd half of the land records. Please make sure you follow the directions exactly as written and put the grantors in the grantor column and the grantees in the grantees column as written.
I know this is confusing but this is done on purpose so that the grantees get recorded too. Please believe me we all felt confused when we first saw this but if you go over the instructions carefully, you will see that they will tell you to watch out for this change of order.

Could you provide the batch code? The batch code is seven digits located at the top of your indexing screen and looks like this: [1111-AAA]. It can also be found under About --> About Batch (upper left side of screen) and in your Web Indexing landing page.

I understand that the columns for Grantor and Grantee switch on a page. BUT my point is even though the column headings switched the Recorder did not.

It seems fine to me, but two things: two entries; How/How and Hulbutt/Hulbutt are missing and if the book number (sometimes referred to as "Liber") is not listed, we leave it blank. Go back to the first Book or Volume Number field, click the attached radio button (6th in from the right on your toolbar) and you don't have to worry about doing Ctrl+B over and over. This also works for dates, names or types of records (if you do Virginia Vital Records).

Thank you for your help! This is not the first batch of this kind that I have indexed and I thought I fully understood that the Grantor and Grantee columns switch on a given page. However in this case all the Grantor names start with the letter 'H' on the first set but when you move up to the second set of entries on the same page where the position of Grantor and Grantee switch and have the same date, page, and book numbers all the Grantee names start with the letter 'H'.
I don't know what you were able to look at because I noticed in this text thread I gave you an incomplete batch code. Unfortunately with only about 10 more files to complete out of approximately 180 files, the batch was pulled around 4 pm while I was indexing. I knew the batch was scheduled to expire on that day but assumed that meant midnight.
Do you know if there is a way to recall the batch? In the past when I had a problem (which was over a year ago) I just called Salt Lake. They would see my screen and the issue was resolved in minutes. Apparently I cannot do that anymore. BTW I do use the 'radio button' you referenced.
I also do not have any idea who sees this post.

Sorry to be late in responding. You cannot recall a batch that has expired to continue working on it. Sorry that happened to you. Also thanks for the tag, @erutherford, but, I am no longer doing any indexing and probably won't be around much.
