How do I correct name mistakes on the site ?
Someone is translating German handwriting wrong... I found a document on here listing the birthplace of my Great Grandfather as a place that never existed.. Someone keeps posting my mother's and Great Aunt's names wrong... The surname is "THOMA" not "THOMAS"..

First of all, is this a problem in the Tree, or in Records, or both? Can you give a URL where you see the problem (or, in the Tree, just a person ID?)
If it's in the Tree, you can generally edit it yourself. Please make sure you include a good comment explaining the reason for your edit. It may also help to send a message to the person who changed or originally entered the incorrect information.
If it's in a Record, in some cases you can edit it yourself, and in other cases you can submit a complaint using the "Send Feedback" link on the record. If you notice a consistent problem in a particular batch, project, or location, you could post in the Search forum and/or in the Suchen [German language] forum about it, to warn other researchers.

I'm assuming the Thomas/Thoma issue is on a profile/person in the tree. If you click on Edit in the Vitals section by the Name then click "See All Changes" you will be able to see who made the change from Thoma to Thomas, click on their name and message them and explain and discuss the matter with them.
