Reese John Davis KWN5-VSV
The ordinances for my Great Grandfather Reese John Davis are definitely wrong. You will note that his baptism and confirmation show 24 November 1979. That would have been AFTER his death and proxy. However, you will also note that he was endowed during his lifetime, therefore he had to have been baptised earlier than that endowment date. Great grandfather was ordained as the stake patriarch of the Oneida Stake in Preston Idaho in 1939. Again, he had to have been a baptised member for that to have occured. My old records show his baptism as 6 June 1880 which makes a whole lot more sense. Have no idea how this date could have been lost or who would have baptized him again in 1979. I am aware that merges etc could affect the dates but it should retain the earlier date, not the later date and 1880 is definitely prior to 1979.
Can that date be corrected? Please.

Thanks to the specialty team. Not that it really made any difference to his salvation, but it sure looked funny.
