New Person Page - Sources & Icons
The former (old) Person Page Sources tab does not show a globe icon for those external docs (Ancestry, MyHeritage, et al) and NFS Legacy docs that are linked. This is confusing as I regularly make sure all available sources have tagging completed as untagged sources do not show up in the vital event list of sources when reviewing say, a birth date with two birth record documents linked.
At any event (ha!), these external and legacy sources cannot be relinked to bring in tagging and data and used to show a globe icon instead of the normal FamilySearch tree icon making it easy to distinguish sources I can relink and/or correct or whatnot. Additionally, these external and legacy sources have an active "Review Attachments" button that doesn't do anything since there are no true attachments to review.

Sorry. I could only select a category from various Blog Comments.

True external source in the new pages do show the globe icon:
Those legacy source are a bit hard to classify. They are not really external sources because they came from New Family Search and so are FamilySearch sources, so might deserve a tree icon, but are from an internal source that does not exist any more. In any event I haven't run across one of those legacy source that contained any source information at all and after a quick look I just detach them.
For example, the one you use in your illustration is just a repetition of the person's vital information. That "government record" is meaningless. It is just the category the user picked in New Family Search. There is no source information in that record of any kind.
The best place for this post would have been: https://community.familysearch.org/en/group/316-new-person-page You are finding a lot of issues with the new pages and the engineers will see them quicker if you post in the right group. They may well agree with you that those legacy sources should have globes again and make the change.
