how to accept all fields at once as correct, before submitting the batch ?

No, each individual record has to have that box clicked. We can't "okay" all records at once. I know in the old days we didn't have to do that and with the change it took a while for me to get into the habit so that when I was done I didn't have to go back and click each one. I sure complained (mostly to myself) about that new feature. 😊

Each record has a box at the bottom of the data entry form (or if in table entry form, at the end of each record) to click that you've verified each field. If you click that, green checkmarks will appear in each field.

Thank you Barbara, I know this bit, what I meant was if I come to the last entry, before I submit the batch.
What happened was I've corrected all the lines where there were errors, and when I came to the last entry, it wouldn't let me submit the batch, because all the lines were not ticked w,ith the green arrow.
In this case, is there a way that I can choose to accept all the un-ticked lines to change it to green arrows?
I hope you understand. If you come to the last baptism record in the book (after you have done all the reviewing and corrections, it is a bit frustrating that you know that you have done all correct, except the tick lines and there are about 40 names on the page.

Sorry, Hester, but as Barbara told you, there is no shortcut, you still have to go back and tick every line to indicate that you have reviewed it.

If you will notice, slotbuddy said to go back and tick every "line" (not field), and as Barbara said, if you go to "table entry" (if it allows you to do so; not all projects have the "table entry" option), to the far right it says "I have verified every field" and you tick the box. It is just once for all the fields in that line. And then you continue down for all lines. So, it isn't as bad as ticking every field. That is about as good as it is going to get for reviewing. There is no choice where you can click just once and all the unticked lines will change to green arrows all at once. I think if there was that option, people would take advantage of it and the quality of reviewing would go down (that is just my own opinion). I have been doing it this way since we changed over to the "green arrow" system and if you are careful to make sure everything has been corrected, this is the way to go. Just before I submit, I reduce the page to 50% or so, so I can see everything and do one last scan for anything I might have missed. Then I go down the right side ticking off the far right box for every line. It goes pretty fast. But accuracy is the name of the game!

@Hester Korff Wolmarans, You can also, if it's available, use "column" data entry method, and use the "I've verified every field" option, that way you are only doing it for the number of fields that are indexed.

I have learned something new! Thanks so much. M. Jones

Thank you all for your replies and ideas, It is good to know when one gets stuck in a rut. This was just a once off really. I usually, as we all must do, make sure that all the boxes are correct.
But that was when I didn't know better. My good friend Hannie Nel had taught me a lot of short cuts to make it easier to do the work faster. Therefore I can do more batches and my eyes are spared from getting tired.
Thank you and take care
Hester
