Give us options for where the FamilySearch Tree opens

I have seen several comments as well as lots of feedback on Facebook about how the FamilySearch Tree is now opening to the last person you were working on. What if we were given the option in settings to decide if we want the Tree to open to the home person or to the last person you were working on? That way those that like to always start with themselves and work back can do so, and those that would like to start with the person they were currently working on can do that as well. I do not know how complicated it would be to offer the option, but I think it is a way to make everyone happy.

I think for the many many people new to Family Search it will need to open to their home name spot and they can learn to click on recents to go back to where they last were working.

I concur. I'd much rather begin at the beginning of my tree and climb out to where I was working last.

I would most prefer to go to where ever I left off. I can always go back to me using the home button or simply by starting to type the string in my search bar. If I have shut down, lost power, or had something interrupt my work, I can easily get distracted on my way back to where I last was and then I'm off down a new rabbit hole.

Either way, the Recents menu should have both people - the last person working on and the home/starting person (from user settings) - so it's not too big of an issue for me. I don't mind the Tree picking up where I left off during the last session - I can always click the home button...but I can certainly understand new users might get confused. I wonder why the Starting/Home Person user setting being enabled would not control where the Tree starts - rather than needing to select Home person? It seems like that is the whole point of the setting? Perhaps this setting has a bug or is no longer being defaulted to?

I loved this "system change" and then I found out it was a glitch and being worked on to "fix." :-( Please make it an option we can choose! There are people in both camps with a preference of who their account opens up.
