Is there a way for me to pull a searchable database of my Civil War ancestors?

This database from the National Park Service might be helpful.

Not directly from the FamilySearch tree. There are partner programs that can be used to download a section of the tree and manage it on your computer. FamilyTreeMaker is one I've used to do that. I know there are others.
You can find more information in the Solutions Gallery - https://partners.familysearch.org/solutionsgallery/s/

BUT if you simply looked at your Pedigree chart or a fan chart -- - there would only be a certain "swath" or generational group that would have lived in the 1860's - even if all of our male ancestors who were of a certain age in 1860 were all involved in the civil war - it would probably be about 60 people or so - but there is nothing magic in FS that somehow has already matched all possible civil war soldiers with the corresponding entries in FS Family Tree - in many cases that will be up to YOU to figure that out -- if it has not already been determined (using for example the database that the first responder shared).
BUT as one example - you could research your line - check available records to see which ones served in the Civil War -- for each one create a FS Memory Story summarizing the Civil War Service - and then include the item for each ancestor in a single memories ALBUM -- with a name like "My Civil War Ancestors"
here is an example of a Civil War Album:

(though this was not limited to my ancestors - none the less it could have been and you get the idea)

Yes in theory there could be something similar to Pioneer Ancestors -- but the number of people who served in the Civil War -- along with the difficulty in identifying each one - would make it so that even if such a thing existed - it would surely not be complete.
and for that matter - neither is the Pioneer Ancestor complete -- though because of the huge effort -- it is a pretty massive database many of which have been connected with Family Tree,
so if you want to really determine a more accurate and complete list of PIONEERS or CIVIL WAR ancestors -- you really end up doing it yourself because there is not completely exhaustive and accurate list of Family Tree entries of pioneer or civil war soldiers -- or just about anything else.
The ones that Family Search has provided are cool and nice - but in many cases - in no way complete.

its not a matter of a "tech thing" - its just that for such a thing to exist - some group has to take the monumental HUMAN effort of identifying all the people involved and marking each record in Family Tree - its a monumental effort. and with military records - its very hard in many cases of knowing for sure if you have the right person identified and marked.

You could Follow each Civil War ancestor and apply a custom label such as "Civil War". At this time the Following list does not show hints, data problems, or research suggestions, but it does show any changes to followed profiles. That is very useful! And a label can be used to filter your Following list, so you can easily review just those ancestors.
Have you found all your ancestors of that time period? If not, you might find it helpful to also follow the tips of your ancestry tree where more work is needed.

Searchable how?

Please clarify what you are envisioning - there seems to be some lack of clarity on our understanding.

Thanks for all the great responses.
I realize I can search individually on my fan chart and was hoping for some “magic” to make it easier.
FS Discoveries posts ie Pioneers Ancestors. I was hoping for something similar to that.
It must only be a FS tech thing.
Thanks again. I’ll definitely use the National Park Service database in my quest!
