@PattyBarrFerrell, if I understand correctly, you are seeing that your cousin has his name misspelled in the 1950 census. Since the New York state census isn't published as of yet, the misspelling must be the error of the enumerator. You will be able to correct the image (state what the correct spelling is on the image and mention that it was spelled incorrectly by the enumerator of the census) after the review process is finished and the New York 1950 census is published. You will also be able to correct the index misspelling at that time also.
