Temple File and 90 day expiration
I came across an ancestor (97QH-T13) who had a sealing to parents still reserved dated 2007. I wanted to get that done but I have thousands of ancestors that I regularly have put into the temple file. I requested it and it gives me 90 days to do it. If I do not get it done in 90 days does it just go back to the 2007 reservation? I thought reservations that old would expire. I would really like it to just be put in the temple file to be done. I have come across similar situations on a number of occasions where the reservation is many years old and is still stuck there as a reservation. I think all those old reservations should be automatically cancelled.

RE: Birgit Thorsen Braaten • 97QH-T13
We have changed the reservation so it is now no longer a 90 day reservation. You should now be able to share the reservation with the Temple if that is your desire. Any issues with doing that then please let us know.
If you do not share the reservation with the Temple, and the reservation expires in 2+ years, the reservation should go to the Temple List with today's date as the reservation date.
The process is that rather than cancel old reservations, the reservations are available to be requested as you have done. But of course, there are circumstances .....
If you find other old reservations eg 2007-2009 then you can reach out here and Support can take a look.
kind regards
