"Block" and "Ward" in column 2

Hi all,

I've been reviewing families for Oklahoma, and I've seen "Block __" come up a few times now in column 2 for the house/apartment number. I wasn't sure what to do the first time, so I had the tab up for a while. When I came back to it, they'd closed that group, so I couldn't do anything more with it. (It does get passed on to someone else, right?). The next time I saw "Block __", I indexed it as a house number. Was this the right thing to do? Should I have included the word "Block"? Today now, I'm seeing "Block __, Ward __" How do I index this?? It's not a prison by the way because they are families. Also, the second family is in the same block and ward as the first, if that helps at all. Could this possibly be some kind of poorhouse or shelter? Anyway, I'm just really not sure how to index this. Thanks in advance!

@ellindea Many Enumerators were very creative about providing identification for the houses that they visited. Based on the information in this Help Article, only actual house numbers would be recorded. Keep in mind that anyone interested in this family will be able to see the actual page that gives the added information. Thank you for your concern and attention to detail.
