Correction to Record citation

I have a record that is indexed to the wrong collection. It is a birth record indexed to the Rhode Island Town Deaths Index, 1639-1932 collection. It should actually be indexed under the Rhode Island Town Births Index, 1639-1932 collection. I still found it but I'll have to fix the citation, somehow. Are there any options to correct this type of indexing error?

When you find a batch connected to the wrong collection, please leave feedback and return the batch so that it can be indexed with the correct collection.

This is a project that has already been indexed. We have asked that it be moved to the correct support Community.

    And it is moved! :)

@Barbara Garza, it certainly does appear that these birth records are in the wrong collection, as you've indicated.

We have previously reported this problem to the engineers and they are in the process of reviewing it. Unfortunately, because of a backlog of issues being worked, it is impossible to suggest when the problem will be resolved.
