Permission to do Ordiances

My sister who is not very computer literate and doesn't have a mobile phone would like to speak to someone with regard to requesting ordinances for a friend.

She already has permission from their nearest relative but doesn't know how to get it to whoever can approve the work to be done.

She may have to photocopy the permission note + send it by mail as she cannot scan it into a computer or take a photo of it to send by her non-existent mobile phone.

She has no one who is able to assist her at this time with the technological submissions.

Ok to contact me to get the ball rolling.

However, Please - if you aren't able to put me in contact with the correct authorities who can help us in this situation do not reply to me, as I suffer from depression and at this time could not bear lots of replies which may be unhelpful that I need to sort through.

Kind regards Margaret

Hello. If your sister's friend is already in Family Search, all she needs to do is click on Ordinances, then Request. It will say permission required. All she has to do is enter the information. It will ask for the person's name that gave the permission, and their contact information. If the friend is not in Family Search, she needs to add her. Since she isn't a family member, she needs to add her as a unconnected person. This article will explain how to do it. https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-add-an-unconnected-person-to-family-tree Your sister can also follow along with this video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8VoaccOtPSY.
