Ordinance Expiration Dates Changing For No Clear Reason

At first I thought I must have mistyped the dates in my records, but I have found at least a dozen reservations dates for people that I'm tracking where the expiration date has been extended for the person currently reserving the ordinances. Here are a couple of examples:

Frances Peterson GSP1-9TP. On June 9 of this year, the expiration date on BCIE was 25 Feb 2024. It is now 24 Mar 2024

Ona Graham LKC3-PKK. On June 9 of this year, the expiration date on BCIESP was 10 Dec 2022. It is now 7 Jan 2023.

Why at some point in the last month would the expiration dates be extended?

    Until all temples are fully reopened, the ordinance expiration dates are being extended day by day. You can sign in with your FamilySearch account and read this article that explains this extension:
