Making the photo gallery "act the same" between Cellphones and Computers?

Okay, so I have a person who looked at photos I added to profiles in our family lines under his name with me as a Helper. He uses his cellphone to discover the photos in the Memories app, My Memories and wants to see the profiles these photos are connected to. Details does not open the profiles.

So the "fix" at the moment is to go to the Gallery on the FamilySearch page using a computer.

Memories > Gallery > My Memories, then find the photo one sees on the cellphone > then click on it in the computer's browser of choice, so the tag dialogue box shows up in the upper right corner. He can then click on the blue texted name that has tagged the photo to get to the profile page for that individual.

So the question is; Can the Cellphones Memories app please be made to "act the same" as the computers, as far a functionality regarding the photo gallery and bringing up the profiles by clicking on the photos?

By the way, I began emailing him the profile links and then adding "photo" at the end of the subject line, so he could then click the link and see the portraits I've added. He ran into some I had not done that with earlier. Thus the head-scratching. "Who are these people and how am I related"?

There is a major update going on. The functionality of memories is already changed in this beta version. To see and test out the new interface, go to any person page, and click the link on the upper right which says "Go to New Person Page". The changes are to support ease of use with mobile devices. You and your helper should test that view out.
