Stillborn baby showing as needing sealing to parents

My father's brother, "Baby Jefferies" KWV5-4SS, shows as needing to be sealed to his parents. While my grandparents were sealed a few years after he was born, he had died in the womb and was a stillborn. My understanding is that stillborn babies do not need to be sealed to their parents. Can you confirm or correct me? If I'm understanding that correctly, would someone be able to fix that in FamilyTree?

Thanks so much!

We are adding a link to a Knowledge Article from the Help Center. This article is titled, "How to add stillborn or miscarried infants to Family Tree."

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-add-stillborn-or-miscarried-infants-in-family-tree

Here are instructions from the article:

    Steps (website)

    1. In Family Tree on the FamilySearch.org website, navigate to the Person page of the stillborn child.
      • If the baby is not already in Family Tree, add him or her to the family before you continue.
    2. If the Vitals and Other Information fields do not show, click Details.
    3. Scroll to the Other Information section.
    4. Click Add.
    5. Click Stillborn.
    6. Enter the information and a reason you feel it is correct.
    7. Click Save.

The article further states, "If you add the stillborn custom event to a person’s record, Family Tree lists ordinances as “Not needed.” After you add the stillborn event to a child's record, refresh the page so the ordinance information displays properly."

If the above suggested steps do not work for you, please let us know and we will offer further help by forwarding your question to our Specialty Team.

    Best wishes.
