Frustration with 1950 Census Review Families
I appreciate that some improvements and streamlining of the process has taken place since I tried reviewing families some time ago. However, today I'm having to give up because I seem to get in a loop with one page and can't even seem to be able to Skip Household! The page has only two lines of enumeration, one household. The rest of the page is blank but does have some highlighted fields starting in line 5. Again, they're blank, no data. I reviewed lines 1 and 2 and went through the review of the review. Each time I was then taken to the next blank line because it had a highlight on it. If I blanked out the highlight and repeated the process I found that the highlight just moved down to the next blank line. I didn't think I should have to repeat this for 20-plus more blank lines. Is there an appropriate choice somewhere, such as "Finished Page. Go to Next Page" that I'm missing? Did I just get a glitchy page?

I've had one of those looping pages. I just left feedback, hit the back arrow, and started over.
If you get several consecutive rows that are not a person (vacant, no one at home, blank rows, etc), you can group all of those rows into one household by selecting all the boxes beside those rows. Click the "NEXT" button. Click the "SKIP HOUSEHOLD" button and select "The selected household is not a person".

I tried this method this morning selecting all the blank lines and grouping them, but it still made me say that each of the 27 blank lines was not a person.

Sorry for all the frustration about this issue! I had the same thing happen to me also. Report it and describe it in "Other". I agree with @Xack to report and then hit the back arrow as there is nothing to review. Engineers will pick that up and fix the highlight going to the blank lines.
Thank you all for your patience.

@vickyg2003 you probably didn't click "NEXT" before skipping the household.

You're right! I just came to another page with highlighted blank lines and selected them all, then made sure to click NEXT before trying to skip the "household." Worked like a charm.

When you report it, be sure to put the state that it is happening in. Thank you all so much! Great job for a workaround. Thank you.
