We are having troubles with the Ancestry Institution version. When trying to view an original document, it only loads a default image of the documents. Is anyone else having this problem?
Yes. This has been going on for some time. We feel the church is getting ripped off. A number of our non-member patrons who have used this for years are obviously upset.
I was told that a paid Ancestry subscription, however small, would give you more access than the Ancestry Institution version. Then Ancestry sends "hints" to your email; when you come to FHC to view it, you can't see it unless you pay for a subscription - even if you have a church member Ancestry account. Very sad.
Pamela Nunokawa - I get "hint" emails from Ancestry, and it is just the church member account. Maybe you need to change something in your account settings?
