I recently went onto Myheritage to learn about it and upload my tree. I saw an error and corrected. Now I find the Myheritage and Familysearch have 'spoken to each other' and I have a whole lot of entries make in FS on the 6th June 2022. I somehow created a same gender relationship, had children attached to their grandparents and someone married to there father in law, lots of ordinance work now not showing and sources attached to the wrong people

Can I reverse what I have done on Myheritage? Donald and John come up with a same gender relationship - (they are father in law and son in law. ) o the ordinance page.

KHVV-3JV peter anderson

GXFQ-H5F donald anderson

L7JF-SZW john robertson

Help, its all a bit of a mess.

Hoping to here from someone soon. Thank you

Lorne

    @LorneO

Thank you for posting your concerns here in Community.

We are sorry you are having difficulty, but don't worry, we are here to help you learn how to make corrections in your FamilySearch tree. Unfortunately, we are not able to assist with third party programs like MyHeritage, but they have help features that can assist you within those programs. Please reach out to them for questions pertaining to those programs.

The following are a couple of articles that will take you step-by-step through how to remove or replace parents of children, and undo incorrect changes in your Tree.

    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-correct-parent-child-relationships-in-family-tree
    https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/how-do-i-undo-an-incorrect-change-in-family-tree

Once you get the families back together as they should be, the completed ordinances for those who are deceased should so up again. If not please let us know with details about the person's individual identification number, name, birth and those ordinances that are missing.

The following article walks you through how to change the sex for a person in Family Tree.

We hope this will be what you need to get the changes made in your Tree. If you need more help, please reach out to us again.

Hi Thank you for your reply. I have worked at making my FS tree pages look correct.

Here are some of the problems I have been unable to resolve so far

John Robertson L7JF-SZW and Donald Anderson GXFQ-H5F

Their gender is correct. These two are father in laws, There children Donald Anderson and Janet Robertson married, that is there only connection

Please could you look at their ordinance page. They show an incorrect SS - same gender - please remove.

Jessie Anderson GXF7-XM4 - I have found most of her ordinances through some unmerging and duplicates.

I have previously sealed Jessie Anderson GXF7-XM4 to her parents Donald Anderson GXFQ-H5F and Janet Robertson G7XY-6QZ. She has a blue box. I am thinking after all the rearranging I have done that her SP ordinance may be attached to John Robertson L7JF-SZW and Jane Robertson L7JF-SYP. Please could you point the ordinances back to the correct parents.

Donald Anderson GXFQ-H5F I have created new hoping that some duplicates would show up but they havent. I know that is work has been completed Please could you find it.

Thank you for your help in sorting this out.

Hi I have been researching some more on the missing ordinance. I have a temple ordinance cards, which I shall attach.

It looks as though Donald Anderson (1816) / John Robertson (1791) and Janet Robertson (1820) / Jane Robertson (1786)have been mixed up together (maybe hijacked)

    John Robertson L7JF-SZW

    in the change log......

27 April 2012 - started as John Robertson

The grand children have been added as children to this marriage

    29 May 2012

Appears to have been Hijacked and turned into Donald Anderson. The vitals - name and christening date have been changed

All the addition made in more recent times have been made with thinking that PID L7JF-SZW belongs to Donald Anderson.

    Jane Robertson L7JF-SYP

    in the change log......

    29 May 2012

Name changed to Janet. Christening 1820 date changed

(this is her daughters name and christening date)

7 April 2015 - marriage details of Janet (her daughter) and Donald Anderson (son in law) added.

975D-TP4 and L1TY-RFZ ? not to sure who they are?

all information added from this point on is with thinking the PID belonging to Janet Robertson (b 1820)

    Anderson Donald b 1816.jpg
    Robertson Janet b 1820.jpg

Please note the SS for John Robertson L7JF-SZW and Jane Robertson L7JF-SYP may well be correct, but it hard to determine what belongs with whom from this view of Familysearch, those with more administrative levels and other clearance to other programs will be able to look at this in more detail.

Maybe if we can sort these 2 couples out the rest will be easier to fix.

Thank you, I appreciate your time in figuring this out.

    Lorne
