Hi, will FamilySearch accept a signed Facebook, messenger note from a relative giving consent for me to do her mother's work, which happens to be my Great Aunt's work? Or do I have to provide an actual signed letter from this cousin?

    Hello @CarolynLawrence1

    The knowledge article https://www.familysearch.org/en/help/helpcenter/article/can-i-request-proxy-temple-ordinances-for-a-friend

specifies that the Temple Policy is "signed, written permission".

Can you have your friend write the permission letter and sign it, then take a photo of the letter and send it to you?
