Oh no! Minnesota over run by Canadian's in 1885 census

I have seen it before, but came across in in Minnesota 1885 state census. Everyone in Nobles County appears to have an "ethnicity" of Canadian.....can this be corrected? @dar barber, I see many references that suggest that one can get ethnicity information from the 1885 Minnesota Census, but I'm not seeing that from the few pages of the census that I've looked at. However, I do see that ethnicity is reported wherever I find the census.

I note that "Canadian" appears to be the "reported" ethnicity most frequently in all of the sources that I have found: Ancestry, Find My Past, and My Heritage. So, the problem seems to have been passed along as copies of the census record and index have been disseminated.
