Initiatories done by me for people not related

I hurriedly printed out five names for initiatories - ordinance ready. My name was listed on all of them. It wasn't until I was in the initiatory booth that I noticed that the names and places of these women were not familiar to me. I did the work for four of them. When I came home and checked their ID #'s, each had a different person listed as the one who submitted the name. It's interesting that one of the names is assigned to a sister in my ward (Cedar City, Utah 20th). I called her to let her know and she's as stumped as I am as to why this happened. Where do I go from here? Do I contact the other four people and let them know what happened? How can this be corrected? Could I have been hacked? I look forward to hearing from you.

There has been a recent change to the Ordinance Ready feature. Here is an article from our Help Center that will give you information about where the names come from when you use Ordinances Ready.

If you had walked into the temple without any cards and said you were there to do initiatories, you would have been given names the temple had printed out. You wouldn't have thought twice about the fact you probably wouldn't be related to any of them.
This is exactly what Ordinances Ready does.
The only difference is that Ordinances Ready first tries to find people who are related to you from various pools of submitted names in the order that the Help Center lists.
One recent change is that it now specifically looks for names submitted by people in your ward and stake. Again, you would not have been bothered by this at all if someone had stood up in Relief Society and said "I've got this stack of initiatories I want to get done, can anyone here help out?" and you had taken a few cards.
We have always had the liberty, and been encouraged, to help friends and neighbors, or even strangers, complete temple work for people they have submitted by attending the temple even when we don't have names of our own to bring. What we are not to do, and have never been supposed to do, is submit names of random strangers. But once a name has been submitted by proper family, anyone can complete the work.
