Which location to use question

So this batch has 2 locations listed for the enlistment location. It lists a fort next to the name, such as Fort Leavenworth. And then it also mentions another Fort Crook, Nebraska. The initial indexer used the main Fort Crook. But I have to check as it looks like it may depend, and not sure.

Which is more appropriate to be put in the batch?

I have amended my initial response to this question. I apologize for anyone mislead by my first reply. I haven’t worked on this particular version of these military projects, and had not read the instructions in detail prior to my earlier answer - then I had a second look.

Here is the pertinent citation from the Field Help for Enlistment Place. Per its 4th instruction/priority, I would use the roster place - Fort Crook, Nebraska - as the “Enlistment Place” since no actual enlistment place or higher priority event place was mentioned.

“Many types of events may have been recorded. In the enlistment fields, type information only about the following events, according to this priority list. (If multiple events were mentioned, use the one highest in the priority list.

    1. Place of enlistment.
    2. Place of events indicated by words such as "appointed," "mustered," or "inducted."
    3. Place of discharge or retirement.
    4. Place where a roll was taken or roster was created.
    5. Place where the soldier or sailor was wounded.”
