How do I notify tech support in FS to report a problem?
I would like to inform you that a portion of FHL microfilm #004369906 has a major problem. This is the Mexico Chihuahua registros parroquiales diocesanas 1632-1958, Juarez, Nuestro Senora de Guadalupe. The marriage record for my great great great great (or something like that) grandparents showed an indexed marriage date of 20 January 1874. When I clicked on the link and read the original record, I saw the year was instead 1784. The indexer inverted numbers in the date. I checked on other records on the page, and they were all indexed incorrectly. This is a huge mistake that will affect many searches.
Specifically, the record I was looking at was Image 83 of 226. I hope you can fix this.

Thank you for notifying FamilySearch and providing the detail of the image. We indexer made a simple mistake and we so appreciate you letting us know.

@Rita Sambrano Swenson We do not have a way to report indexing errors. Indexes are subject to human error. But you can edit the date for your ancestor. On the page showing the record image, look at the Image index below the film image. Hover your mouse over the space to the left of a name and an icon appears that looks like a sheet of paper. Click it to open the record details page showing the indexed information. At the top, in the dark bar, click Edit. Then click Edit to the left of the date you want to edit. Make the change. Highlight the date on the document image. Select a reason for the change and then click Save.
