How do I correct a mistake that I made when indexing?
I just had a family with Head, wife, son-in-law, daughter, and granddaughter. I had to correct one first name and thought everything looked fine. When I clicked the final save button, all of the last names changed to the last name of the head of household, instead of the last three having the soninlaw's last name. Can I go back and correct it?

And then on the same page there was one more household and when I finished the household above it took me to the finished page and never allowed me to look at the last person. Weird!

Unfortunately, once you've clicked Save, or been taken to the next family, you can't go back.
If you are on the same page, you can send a Feedback note (button at the top of the page) explaining the error. These go to the engineers/programmers. They may or may not fix it.
Remember, once the index is published researchers will be able to edit many of the fields, such as names, to correct enumerator mistakes and program glitches.
Thanks for being conscientious and volunteering for this project.
