Sealing
My 2nd great-grandfather, Frederick Wall L58F-HK9 , is sealed to Thomas Wall and Ann Sheckley. I recently found out that Thomas Wall is not his biological father, that Benjamin Wasdell is his biological father. There was an explanation given under Frederick's life sketch. I see he is listed as son to both fathers. He is sealed to Thomas and I noticed that someone has reserved the work to seal him to Benjamin Wasdell as well. My understanding is that a child is not sealed to more than one set of parents. What is church policy on this?
Thank you for any help with this. Pam Jesperson

Thank you for posting your question in the Community. It is acceptable to seal a child to more than one set of parents. Here is information from different articles found in the Help Center.
"In Family Tree, a person can be sealed to multiple sets of parents."
"A deceased child is usually sealed to birth or adoptive parents. Where justification exists, deceased children may also be sealed to stepparents, foster parents, or grandparents. A deceased child can also be sealed to a couple who intended to adopt the child but could not complete the adoption before the death of the child."
"If all persons involved are deceased, no special approval is needed."
We hope this information helps.
