While searching for my family, I accidentally wound up on a page for 1880 census Barnwell, SC
My family's last name is SWAN, and they have all been listed instead of
SWAN as SNARR. How can this be changed? Thank you.

If it is a transcription error, you can likely correct that. I have made quite a few corrections. If it was written wrong originally by hand, that probably can't be corrected.

Mary Ann Pate's husband's first name was wrong. Her husband's name is listed Marian. His name was Mannon Ray. I know this because he was my great great grandfather. Mary Ann died of small pox. Their idwelling plus contents were burned. My great grandmother was their only child (Elizabeth Vermont Ray) She was 4 years old and her father raised her. She married at 16 in Tenn to Alford Moore O'Neal. My grandfather (Charles Dow O'Neal) (Jack) was their last child. He was born Miner, Texas in 1901.

No one can help in the least with this unless you post a link to where these names are wrong. If you do that, then others can take a look at the place and give an answer as to whether that particular appearance of the name can be edited or not and if they can, how to go about it.
