Household forms in Michigan and Ohio
A number of locations in Michigan and Ohio were enumerated using separate forms for each household instead of the standard forms as a way of testing the use of household forms (see https://1950census.archives.gov/howto/faq.html#formp1 for more info). A lot of my family were in these areas in Ohio, and these household forms don't seem to be available for indexing/name review/etc. right now. Similarly, on Ancestry, I can browse to find these families, but they're not searchable using the AI generated index that will later be replaced by the work everyone's doing here. Are these household forms eventually going to be indexed?

@Christy Melick, thank you for your question and providing the URL. These forms, because they are so different, were not indexed using the computer generated index. They are being keyed by an outside party the same way the territorial indexes were created and will be published as well.
I have reached out as well for more information and stats on this. I will give you more information when I receive it.
Your question is great to have and will be an answer for many others. We appreciate all you are doing!

Thanks for this information! I'm glad to hear that there's a plan to have them indexed and published.
