Baptism and confirmation record for deceased brother.
My name is Julie Peterson Blakeslee. My brother, David Anthon Peterson, died 12/22/2017. He was baptized and confirmed on March 31,1962. He never received temple ordinances.
His widow has given me permission to complete his temple work. I have created a record in Family Search. The new record shows that he needs to be baptized and confirmed. Since he has already been baptized and confirmed, how do I make the temple ordinance record show that he has already been baptized and confirmed?

His index card number is GXW3-BVW — I have reserved the ordinances. Thanks for your help in getting the official documentation from the church records on his baptism and confirmation. I’ll look forward to hearing back from you!

Thank you so much for helping me obtain the right help from Family Search for my brother to receive his temple ordinances. This has been on my mind since his passing and I was reluctant to approach his widow for permission. She is a very special "sister" but pretty steeped in her Brazilian spiritualist beliefs. Fortunately, she agreed that Dave would want to have his temple work done (although I'm pretty sure she doesn't know what this means). Our temple service and attendance is a huge and very important part of our lives with our children and grandchildren. We have been blessed immensely to live 5 minutes from the Meridian temple. Tomorrow during our temple shift, my husband will complete the INI for Dave and Saturday morning we have already planned to be with family members in an early endowment session -- which will be made even more wonderful as my husband, John, will then help Dave receive his endowment.
Your work in this calling truly helps bring families together -- both in this life and the next. I am so grateful for your part in uniting our family. May the Lord bless you for your service in His Kingdom!!!
