Ordinances performed before the person died.

According to FamilySearch, someone performed temple ordinances for my aunt between 1999 and 2012, but she didn't die until 2015. She never joined the church, so these are not live ordinances. What should be done about this situation? How can her temple work be done if the system thinks the work has already been done?
