HOWEVER
actually I wasnt totally correct when I said you cant just submit anything for FS indexing
FamilySerarch actually does possibly accept digital version of year books
see:
https://www.familysearch.org/en/wiki/Family_History_Library_Donations
do a FIND on "yearbook"
Im not sure how they get around the copy right issue.

1200 DPI is way beyond what is needed
most anything beyond 300-400 DPI is usually just wasted DPI
(the original printed page would NOT have been printed at 1200 DPI in the 1st place)
redo your scan at 300 DPI and scan like 10 pages a piece to pdf -
or since so many people can be on a single page - consider individual JPG images instead of pdf
at 1200 DPI even a few pages will probably max out the 15 MB file size for no good reason.

this is an example of a year book scan
https://www.familysearch.org/photos/artifacts/134541546?cid=mem_copy
probably done at about 200 DPI (since the original was probably only actually printed at about 2-300 DPI
The pdf file ended up as 2.2 MB
but if you are planning on indexing each person on each page - I would probably leave as individual pages
and the person tagging - would be done by YOU (or a team of your friends etc.)
you cant just submit random documents for FS to index
BUT if you ARE really serious - you can come up with your own team
like I did for the Family Bible Preservation Project
