Request permission - Is there a normal wait time?

I sent an ordinance for my aunt Betty Jean Webber LFW9-P2C over a week ago. I believe I included a copy of the letter granting me permission. How long should it be before I receive a response?

Thank you,

Steve Watrous

Hello and thank you for contacting FamilySearch. If I understand correctly, you sent in a request to do an ordinance for your aunt Betty Jean Webber over a week ago with a letter granting you permission to do the ordinances. That's wonderful. We can't estimate how long it may take to get approval. Sometimes it's taken a few weeks. Recently, FamilySearch has had many requests and they are working to get through each of them. Keep an eye on your email. There will either be an approval or they may need further information. Make sure to check your junk email too. Many times the communication was sent to the junk email and goes unnoticed. I'm attaching a link to an article in the Help Center with further information regarding the request to do Temple ordinances for a family member who was born in the last 110 years. Make sure you have taken all the steps so as not to cause further delay. I hope this information helps and we thank you for your patience.
