Hello! I have record that William Carnochane I was baptized 4 Feb 1993 and endowed 4 Feb 1993 and sealed to Sara Nevius (LYTV-ZCZ) on 5 May 1993. Can this be updated in FamilySearch? Thank you!
Support should be able to help with this, but it might take some time.
While waiting, there are a couple of things that you can do to help them and to speed up the process. First is to realized that anyone with any ordinance work done should already be in Family Tree which contains all the old IGI records of temple work. Since you have copies of family group sheets with ordinance information, you should be able to find the corresponding IGI record. Sometimes this can easily be found in Family Tree. Sometimes it is easier to work in the IGI collection under Genealogies.
The hard part, is that IGI records were not linked as families, so there will be multiple records, some with just individual ordinances some with just sealings.
For William the first here, by going to his Family Tree record that you posted and clicking Find Similar People in the right hand column under Tools, I got this:
The second result was his wife, Sara, with information exactly matching the family group record you have and with the 1999 ordinance dates you have. You just need to merge the two records for Sara. There should be another record for her sealing to William still to be found.
Since William himself didn't pop up, let's try in the IGI. Choose Search from the top menu, then Genealogies. Set the Search form to show more options. Under Collections choose IGI. Then put in Williams information as you have it from the family group sheet:
With this I did not get any results. However if I removed the place name (don't know why the search engine did like it) I get five results, three in Scotland and two in Ireland:
All of those records should have corresponding ordinance work and corresponding records in Family Tree. I don't know why, but for some reason, the only record for this family that seems to actually be in Family Tree is for Sara. Since I'm not having any luck, many someone else here can find those Family Tree records.
Your question has been forwarded to a specialty team for review and resolution. You may be contacted by that team if they need to gather more information.
