find baptism info from church records and combine with familysearch person

Hello everyone!
A sister I minister is trying to do her brother:s temple work. He did his own baptism at 8. He hadnt attended church for many years when he passed away - so no ward clerk entered his death date.
She has his information in familysearch but we haven:t been able to get his church records of his living baptism attached. We have asked our ward clerk but he said he could do nothing since it wasn:t our ward the brother died in.
She would like to do his initiatory and endowment work. How can we help her get there?
Thank you!!

Good afternoon Wendi and thank you for posting your question here in community.
To help you we will need to know the FamilySearch ID number of the deceased relative of your friend and his person page will need to reflect his death date and place along with an attached source proving that he is deceased.
The following articles will walk you though the steps necessary to update his person page and where to find his FamilySearch ID number if you are not sure.
We look forward to hearing from you again with the needed details.
