Crossed out info

When an item is crossed out but has a correction, I record the corrected information. However, what if the item is crossed out but not corrected. For example, I have "wife" crossed out when the person is actually the wife of the son-in-law (i.e. the daughter). Do I index it as "wife" or leave blank? My intuition tells me the blank makes more sense.

@Sheila Larkin_2 Please provide the batch code found in brackets at the right of the project name like this example [XXXX-XXX] Every project has a unique set of instructions regarding crossed out or corrected information and the fields of entry.
