How to receive permission for grandmother-in-law's temple work when website is missing option?

Hello,

I recently married a non-member who knows about my faith and gave express written permission for me to perform his grandmothers' temple work. I was able to do my grandparents without any issue, as is the rule. He is linked to me as a living person in my FamilySearch account.

These are also my grandmothers now, and I requested permission on the app a week or so ago, but have not heard anything back as to yes or no. So I went to the web version to request permission, but here, grandchild is not even enterable. Are grandchildren even allowed to do work for their grandparents anymore, or did something change?

Thanks for the help!

    Dear PPIL,

Both requests were submitted 3 days ago and will be handled in the order in which they were received. The internal team handling your requests are backlogged with prior submissions and we ask you to be patient. They will be handled in due order. We do not have an estimate when they will be reviewed. You will be notified via email when they are ready.

Thank you for contacting FamilySearch Support.
