    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

    So, that we may be, better able to help/assist ...

    Question: Exactly what problems/issue, are you having?

    Please advise/clarify.

    As, different Users/Patrons, can be, experiencing DIFFERENT, problems/issues.

    If you are having problems signing into either FamilySearch.org or Community, and need assistance, you must call, Support at 1-866-406-1830.

    A phone call is the only method that can be used for problems with recovering UserNames or resetting Passwords for the above sites.

    I'm not sure if this is the correct forum but I had a problem signing into FamilySearch today. I'm an experienced user on both the website and mobile FamilySearch app. Today it took me an hour or more plus a call to support to finally get into the FamilySearch mobile app on my Amazon Firefox. It is not the first time I have used this device to access the app and in the past have not had any issues.

    The first few times today it wasn't recognizing my password which I carefully reviewed after revealing it to make sure I entered it correctly. When I went back to the sign in page where I entered my username, my username was gone. When it finally accepted my credentials, it took me to the Church's web page.

    Support had me uninstall and reinstall the app. When my username and password were finally accepted, instead of taking me to FamilySearch, it took me to the Church's webpage again. I scrolled down and clicked the FamilySearch link, it took me to the homepage. When I tried to access my family tree, it took me back to the sign in page. I clicked to sign in with my Church account and after entering my credentials, it took me back to the Church web page. It took multiple tries to finally access my tree.

    Is this going to be an ongoing issue? I like some of the enhancements but if these enhancements are going to be at the expense of a truly user friendly, well functioning app, I'd rather not have the enhancements. If I'm out and have a few minutes to do a little work, I want to make the most of my time, not spending my time trying to get into the app. 😬
