Likely missing ordinances for Thomas Walker GXM1-G87
My direct ancestor is Thomas Walker LHN4-DHK, but his identity and parentage has been under debate for some time now. Because of that, I think multiple Thomas Walkers were merged in NFS into a single record for LHN4-DHK. LHN4-DHK may or may not be the same person as GXM1-G87, but I'm trying to organize Family Tree so I can effectively do the research to determine that answer. In the meantime, I have a cousin who says she was the one who found Thomas Walker GXM1-G87 and that she did temple work specifically for him as the Thomas Walker who was baptized 21 June 1778 in Ripon, Yorkshire, England. If that is true, then I believe the ordinances she performed are now stuck under LHN4-DHK (and a look at the change history suggests that this happened in New FamilySearch, so I need Support to correct the issue--I can't fix it by restoring from merges).
ITEM 1: What I'm asking is to have Support look at record GXM1-G87 and locate any ordinances that apply to the Thomas Walker who was baptized in the Church of England on 21 June 1778 in Ripon, Yorkshire, England, and place those ordinances on GXM1-G87.
In the future I may or may not be able to determine that he is the same person as LHN4-DHK, but for the present time, that cannot be determined, so I would like the two records to appear separately. GXM1-G87 will be the Thomas Walker who was baptized 21 June 1778 in Ripon, and LHN4-DHK will be the Thomas Walker who died 4 May 1839 in Lapeer, Michigan.
ITEM 2: Early researchers concluded that the Thomas Walker LHN4-DHK who died 4 May 1839 in Lapeer, Michigan, was the same person as a Thomas Walker who was baptized in Kirby Hill, Yorkshire, England, on 29 July 1769. Now that further research has been done, this theory hasn't been 100% debunked, but it has become highly unlikely. Can you also review the ordinances on LHN4-DHK and move any ordinances that apply to the Thomas Walker who was baptized 29 July 1769 in Kirby Hill (also called Kirby on the Moor) over to GXM1-847. Record GXM1-847 will uniquely represent the Thomas Walker baptized 29 July 1769 in Kirby, and record LHN4-DHK should uniquely represent the Thomas Walker who died 4 May 1839 in Lapeer, Michigan.
I also have written a life sketch for Thomas Walker LHN4-DHK who died 4 May 1839 in Lapeer, Michigan. I have included some PIDs for other Thomas Walkers that may have at one time been tangled into this record. If you see any ordinances for any of these other Thomases, will you please move them off record LHN4-DHK and onto their respective records.
Thank you so much for your help in this matter.
