How do I find out who the ghost parents are?

Hi.
Having looked at MV8T-4MM, and then at his father, it seems that not only has the father been duplicated with an unidentified spouse, but MV8T-4MM is attached to the duplicate and not the father that has the unnamed spouse JN8-PCK. I would suggest that MV8T-4MM is joined to the correct parents so that the duplicate can be removed.
I've attached a Knowledge article that will explain how to do this in detail.
Hope this helps.
Kind regards,
Barry

Looking at Rhys' Family Tree record and the Change Log, you can see that nothing has been done with the record since it was first imported into Family Tree in 2012.
Looking at the structure of the data in the record, this just gives the impression that this is an old IGI record and searching there, you will find that this is the case: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/2:1:MV8T-4MM
Since a record that was submitted for temple work, which was the only way one got into the IGI, was never able to be edited after that, that means that this record for Rhys apparently never had a mother. There was a time that temple policy did allow sealings of children to their father and their unnamed mother, such as John Smith being sealed to "Henry Smith and his (John's) mother."
So this appears to not really be a true case of ghost parents, but rather a case of Family Tree not being able to display the sealing properly when the mother was not named. Comparing the Family Tree record to the IGI record, there never was another set of parents for Rhys which were detached from him.
I hope you are having progress with support getting this fixed.
