This makes me feel like I'm wasting my time doing work on the 1950 U.S. Census. I was assigned sheet 72 for Bayville, New York, 30-599. There was no house number shown for Cosmo De Marco so I did a search on ancestry.com and got a hit for him in the 1950 U.S. Census that was assigned to me.

If this is already done, why am I repeating it?

@Vincent Nofi, Several other groups, including Ancestry.com are using their own criteria for handling and releasing records.  You are not wasting your time; we are just doing what we have been asked to do to make these records searchable in FamilySearch. Thank you for asking about this.

@Vincent Nofi, This Youtube video has been released which gives an explanation on how Ancestry and Family Search are working together in order to make the full 1950 census available. We are all so excited to be participating in this collaborative one of a kind effort. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7UEVz6W_Sg8
