Another search issue....1920 US census Odessa Martin

Odessa Martin is a 3 year old living in Grimes County, Texas. I can see there is an entry on ancestry, but for the life of me can not find it on familysearch. Her parents are John and Emma. I have tried all sorts of ways to search it (and have spent WAY too much time) and NOTHING! This is just one example of the difficulties the "new" search provides for users. I double dog dare you to find it. I have even tried searching other names on the page (asking a friend to look up the page on ancestry) still can't find it. What gives?

@dar barber - unfortunately, you have found another standardization error that results from the use of computer generated, standardized place names. In this case Justice Precinct 3, ED 19, which is in Grimes County, Texas has been standardized to Justice Precinct 3, Midland, Texas.

We apologize for this error; it is something that the engineers can resolve. I will put this issue into the queue for the engineers to review and fix. As they continue work on many similar problems, I cannot indicate how soon the problem will be resolved.

I'm glad to see that you were able to find these individuals, notwithstanding the error. Sometimes, it may help to broaden our search. Whereas, Odessa Martin was not found when searching for her in Grimes County, Texas; by opening the filter to all of Texas, I was able to find her without problem.

OK, now this is interesting, I am building the tree and place her brother Leon, a 5 year old in by and and BOOM - up pops a hint to add the 1920 census! However, Justice Precinct 3, Midland, Texas, United States is what it is indexed as - part of the everyone helps standardized things...the page shows Texas, Grimes, Justice Precinct 3, ED 19 - but this is why I couldn't find it - I would have never looked at anything with Midland Texas - because it is on the other side of the state! Well, problem solved....now to go Highlight and Edit so it doesn't happen to someone else. But, hey, thanks for listening! Oh Wait! Is the whole county like that? Can someone go in and correct the entire county if it is wrong? Thanks!
