On Header Review:

Sometimes a Place (Town, City or Township) name is inserted in the place field even though there in no place shown on the image. Likely this information comes from the Metadata. How do I verify that? For the purposes of the 1950 Census Header Review process, do I leave it or do I delete in because it is not shown on the image and is not verifiable by the Reviewer? As we have seen in previous censuses, there is a possibility that the Metadata is incorrect.

Note: Sometimes the computer will expand, correct, or add a place name based on census metadata. You do not need to edit these changes unless you can tell from the image that they are incorrect.
