@Reeve Nield So sorry that you have waited so long for a response to your concern about the images for DGS 7901273 not matching what you see in the catalog description. When we search the catalog for this DGS #, we see that items 3 and 4 cover Church records for Smithfield Presbyterian Church in Amenia, Dutchess, New York. Here is the catalog entry:

    https://www.familysearch.org/search/catalog/193295?availability=Family%20History%20Library

When you click the camera icon to view the images, it takes you to Item 1 on the film. It will always do that, no matter what item number is being described on that catalog page. Item 1 is records of a church in Pennsylvania.

So, when you search the catalog, notice the Item number for the records you want to see. Then, when you click to view the images, leave it showing the thumbnails. It's usually pretty easy to see where each "Item" begins. On this film, the image is white and has BEGIN in large letters. Easy to see in the thumbnails. Scroll down to the 3rd of these (image 147 in this case) and on image 148 you'll see that you are beginning the records for Amenia, NY. Happy browsing!

I am trying to research in Film #1528779, Item 2, Image Group 7995837. It is supposed to contain records for Eckartsleben. - Heiraten 1809-1875, Taufen 1809-1846, Tote 1809-1875. The index page lists Eckardtsleben, so do some of the end cards within the film. Unfortunately I can only find records for Wiegleben, Illeben, Herbsleben and Grossballhausen. I have been through the film multiple times. If the records for Eckardsleben for these dates are filmed elsewhere, can you give me the film #? If they are in this film can you tell me the page numbes that the Heiraten, Taufen, and Tote records start on?

    Thanks,

    Karen

@Karen Alejnikov, it's a particularly unreadable-to-me version of That Dratted Handwriting, but try image 312: I think that may be the start of the records that have been cataloged as Eckartsleben.

    Film #007815750

    Item #8

Supposed to be 1845-1847 but there are some other pages from different years are in that Item including 1907. Image #318 is 1846 but the next consecutive image for 1846 is image #362. Right Hand Side of #318 is 1907, Left Hand Side#319 is 1907 but next consecutive image for 1907 is #331 and continues to #336.

Here's the URL, I get an error trying to use Insert Media, https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/3:1:3Q9M-CSSS-B99Z?i=317
