When typing a birthplace or death place in an entry, the blue loading line keeps moving
Hi, I don't know where I am supposed to get help for this issue I'm having. Hoping someone can tell me what to do.
When I type a birthplace or a death place in an entry field, (or whatever it is called), there is a blue line that keeps scrolling across, as the list of towns drops down. I try to click on the right town, but it goes to a different town. Not the one I am clicking on. It used to be that as I am typing a previously typed town, that town would come up and I could just hit enter and go on to the next field. For some reason, it is not working correctly and I am having to go back and fix my entries.
Please help!

I think it is a problem with Auto-Complete that FS should fix. I reported this in an earlier conversation. Moderators, please check on this. I always have Auto-Complete turned OFF and experienced that oscillating little blue line you've mentioned when looking at a shared batch in a conversation where the issue arose.
Workaround: As a workaround, try typing the value you believe is correct; ignore the suggestions Auto-Complete provides and use Tab instead of "Enter." The system should accept your answer and take you to the following field. So at least you won't have to circle back and fix erroneous values forced upon you.
This Tab "feature/behavior" with auto-complete/auto-suggest is part of the "Universal Input Mode" introduced in late 2017. See the citation from the end of the keyboard shortcuts Help Center article, which you'll find at this link:

How auto-complete is supposed to work: Here is that critical citation, which describes how auto-complete/auto-suggest is supposed to work:
"In Universal Input Mode (12/04/2017):
Enter, and Tab are the biggest differences:
- Enter accepts the highlighted auto-suggest value, if one exists, and advances to the next field.
- Tab keeps only what you typed and ignores the auto-suggested values and advances to the next field.
- Right Arrow accepts the auto-suggested value and keeps you on the same field so you can keep typing. Auto-suggest continues to make suggestions as you type."
