Descendancy

When I am searching for relatives who need temple ordinances done and click on one and select the ordinance to do, the descendancy page reverts to the top instead of where I was in the tree. This makes it very hard to get back to where I was. Can you please fix it so it reverts to the location where I am?

Thanks,

Carlso

Hi Carlos - Yes this is kind of annoying. If you are working from a browser, there is actually a way that works really well. When you see the temple icon or any of the other icons, instead of clicking on the icon, click on the person's name to display the summary card. Then at the bottom of the summary card, right click on "person" and select "Open link in new tab" from the drop down. You can then go to the new tab on your browser, do what you need to do with the ordinances or anything else. Then you can close the tab if you want and return to the tab where your descendancy chart is and you will be in the same place. I use this feature extensively in many places in FamilySearch.

Let us know if we can be of further assistance.
