Potential Erroneous Marriage Relationship for John Knight (M29Y-13R)
John Knight (M29Y-13R) shows a 2nd wife named Ann (no surname) (MJZ4-DS2) who has a daughter named Mary Ann Knight (MJZ4-D9J). The daughter is sealed to this John Knight and Ann (done in 1977).
I can't find evidence to conclude that this John Knight was ever married to anyone named Ann nor that this Mary Ann Knight could be his daughter (other than the source containing her father's name as John Knight). The source attached to this daughter indicates she was born in Berkeley, Gloucester, England in 1862. At that time it appears that this John Knight was living in Whoplode, Lincolnshire, England, which seems unreasonably far away from Berkely.
Is it best to leave this relationship as it is in FamilySearch for the time being because the daughter appears to be sealed to this John Knight? Or should I remove the relationship with Ann and her daughter Mary Ann Knight? Should I be concerned that this daughter was possibly sealed to the wrong John Knight and maybe that Ann might also be attached to the wrong John Knight?

I see that. Sorry I forgot that sometimes restore does not remove incorrect relationships. What you need to do is disconnect the child from John Knght M29Y-13R and also disconnect Ann if she still remains. You can disconnect the child by clicking the pencil icon to the right of her name in the family members section of John Knght M29Y-13R person page. A pop-up window should appear that allows you to remove the relationship between the child - Mary Ann and the incorrect parents. Similarly if Ann still shows as a spouse after removing the daughter -- click the pencil icon in the marriage box and you should be able to remove the relationship between John and the incorrect Ann.
Sorry I didn't explain this before. If you have any other issues with this just post here and I will attempt to provide some help. You may want to look at these help center articles --
they provide more detailed instructions that I gave above for the suggested process.

1862 should read 1858 above.

In looking at the record of John Knght M29Y-13R - we can see from the change log there was a merge in January of this year of John Knight MJZ4-DSS into this record. If you note that the extra spouse ann has an ID number of MJZ4-DS2 and the daughter is Mary Ann Knight MJZ4-D9J. Note that the merged John record the spouse record and the daughter record all start MJZ4 which means they were created at a similar time in entering records. I believe if you restore the deleted John Knight MJZ4-DSS record so that it is not merged you will remove the second spouse and child that they will be an unconnected triple in Family Tree. The specific procedure would be
- in the recents drop down box at the top enter MJZ4-DSS and click go
- This should take you to the deleted record -- in the lower right of the box there is a Restore
- Click on Restore.
- Check sources attached to the restored father, mother and Daughter to make sure that appropriately are linked
- go to John Knght M29Y-13R and make sure John Knight MJZ4-DSS does not appear as a possible duplicate. If it does mark it as not a match because of birth location of child.
Hope this helps to resolve your issue.
