1950 Census Bug: Lodgers on Family Review

I've now run into multiple images where lodgers from one household appear in the top rows, above any head of house. These are getting tied to the next head of house, despite having household numbers that differ from that head of house. As a result, it highlights and pulls household data from that head of house. And in at least one case, then recognized the last lodger on the list as the final entry on the page, bringing up the following page to verify if the household continued or not.

Without seeing exactly what you are seeing, the following ideas may apply:

    1. Isolate the lodgers that pertain to the previous page by unchecking the boxes for the people that belong to the next family (at the other address).
    2. At the bottom of the page, click Skip Household (this applies to the lodgers whose boxes are still checked).
    3. In the list of possible issues, click the box for Other.
    4. Describe the issue that these pertain to a household on the previous page. Click Submit.

Ideally the system would then proceed to the next family.

If the system still insists on doing something weird, provide Feedback and describe the issue.
